Education & High School Credit Recovery

The primary purpose of the CSD Summer School program is to provide options for CSD students from all four high schools to recover credits required for graduation and/or develop skills to support success in core classes. Summer School priority is given to students who live within the CSD boundaries and were in grades 9-12 during the 2021-22 school year.

Students are limited to two semester courses to begin with.

* STUDENTS MUST FIRST SUBMIT THE 2022 SUMMER SCHOOL SIGN-UP FORM available through Parent Square, by June 24th.

Students attending these programs must behave in such a way that they do not pose a harm to self or others.

Our programming is required to follow state Covid guidelines.

I.D.E.A.L. Science Methods for Teachers

For elementary classroom teachers

24 STEM clock hours available. Hands on practical instruction in science concepts, activities and the IDEAL Method of implementing meaningful science lessons into your classroom. The I.D.E.A.L. model is applicable to any science lesson at any grade level. However, due to time limitations and instructor expertise, the content areas of science that will be explored include: laws of motion; properties of matter; light and color; astronomy; chemistry.
