World Language Assessment for High School Credit

Camas School District students grades: 9-12. Grades 11 & 12 have 1st priority

Can you fluently read, write, speak and listen in a language other than English? If you are a student in grades 9-12 in the Camas School District, you can earn high school credit in world language by successfully passing district approved assessments and demonstrating your language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in this language. Assessments are available for many different world languages. Visit these websites for more information: avantassessment.com/stamp or altalang.com/language-testing/languages.

Earn up to four credits depending upon the level of proficiency you demonstrate. Credits are awarded based on the lowest level of proficiency across all skill areas so it is important that students have strong skills in all four areas. All students must be familiar with their language keyboard.
