Continue to check our website frequently for additional programs to be posted. Children attending CCE/JWR programs must be fully toilet trained, able to self-feed, participate independently, and behave in such a way that they do not pose a harm to self or others. If a student is not capable of these guidelines, then supportive accommodations from family or a representative is welcome. Safe behavior is expected.

Late pick up fee is $1 per minute

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

  • There is a 10% processing fee (up to $20 max per purchase) for refunds or cancellations if the office is notified one week prior to the start of camp. After this time no refunds will be issued.
  • Our office will issue refunds only – no changes. If you need to make a change, a refund will be given (minus the processing fee) and you must purchase the new camp.
  • There are NO REFUNDS for Three & Me Art, Chefs in Training, or Sew Fun classes.

Summer Camps

Ages: 5-11, Explore all of the ways that Elida Art Studio can bring more art and creativity through our Art Van-Go curriculum. Professional artist, Elida Field, has over 20 years of teaching experience, and is the owner of Elida Art Studio & Gallery in Camas. * Bring a paint shirt or apron and a snack and water bottle to class each day.
* If your child is attending JWR Summer Care and needs to be walked to and from this camp, you must communicate this with JWR summer staff.

We are on an adventure around the globe where we will paint, draw and sculpt famous landscapes and landmarks. Learn how to draw and paint places and things like The Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge and Eiffel Tower. As we travel across the globe, kids will gain some geography knowledge as well. This is a great “staycation” but feels like you’ve been on the Amazing Race! Don’t miss out on these exciting adventures!

Everyone loves a garden gnome or a woodland fairy! Dive into the world of mystical creatures where we will lead you through creating some of our favorites as well as learning to make up your own! Make your own one-eyed monster with clay. A flying pegasus might show up or a unicorn! You may also capture some griffins, pandacorns, elves, trolls and giants. There will be plenty of pixie dust to go around to help you fly to other realms. This art camp will inspire you to create creatures of legend.

There is nothing cuter than a puppy or kitten — unless you’ve seen a kid elephant! This week is dedicated to drawing and painting all different kinds of baby animals. Each day will be using a different medium and theme, but by the end of the week, kids will have a portfolio of the cutest wee animals you’ve ever seen. If you are an animal lover, this is your camp!

Get ready for a wild artistic adventure into the heart of the Jungle! Imagine watercolor painting some brightly colored Macaws, sculpting some big mouthed frogs, and acrylic painting an active volcano. These are a few of the fun projects we have planned for the week. The jungle has a plethora of different animals, birds, insects, and reptiles to study. Each day students will be creating something new and learning some fun facts along the way. Led by our experienced instructors, student’s will have a super fun time as well create paintings, drawings and sculptures that they are proud to display. Don’t be left behind, this adventurous camp is so fun and usually sells out so swing on over to register and meet you in the jungle!

Embark on a cosmic adventure as we soar through the universe. Kids will be exploring the wonders of the universe as they watercolor paint their planets, draw their aliens, use chalk pastels to create their glowing galaxies, and design their metal robot sculptures. Our experienced art teachers will be guiding them along in creating something new and different each day. What a great way to escape the heat and take a staycation! This camp will be “out of this world”! With limited space, don’t be left behind on planet earth, instead jump on our art spaceship to planet Awesome!

Welcome to our Enchanted Forest Art Camp! Paint a fairy forest scene, watercolor a woodland elf, and draw a forest frog! Our week will be jam packed full of artistic adventures as we dive into the mystical world of the enchanted forest. From painting vibrant fairy tale scenes to crafting whimsical creatures our camp is sure to bring the magic your kids need this summer. Don’t miss out on this super fun and enchanting art camp!

A giant octopus, great white shark, and killer whale are magnificent sea creatures and we’re going to take a deep dive into the sea to explore them. Then, we’ll look at the littlest creatures. Have you ever examined a sea horse or a tiny little hermit crab? The ocean is packed full of interesting and wonderful creatures to draw, paint and sculpt. It’s also a great way to learn more about our oceans and animals of the sea!

Imagine the Lion King, with its breathtaking landscapes and thousands of different animals all together in one location. That’s what the Serengeti is like but in real life. Roar into creativity as we make our way across the globe to the Serengeti National Park where we will explore all of the colors and diversity that this African location has to offer. Young artists will use watercolors, clay, acrylics and chalk pastels to create elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras and colorful bee eaters to name a few. Led by our experienced art instructors, who will guide you through new projects each day making this a super fun and exciting adventure. So grab your binoculars, maps and day packs and get ready for an art safari you won’t forget!
